OYA ATTENDANCE AND ENGAGEMENT POLICY
The OYA Attendance and Engagement Policy has been designed to promote a positive and supportive learning environment, ensuring that every engagement opportunity led or supervised by Opportunity Youth Academy staff is valued. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the details outlined in the OYA Student, Parent, and Staff Handbook.
Key components of the Attendance and Engagement Policy include:
Regular Attendance: Emphasizing the importance of consistent attendance to maximize learning opportunities.
Engagement in Activities: Encouraging active participation in Learning Labs, field trips, Civic Engagement projects, scheduled meetings, assessments and other learning opportunities.
Communication Channels: Establishing effective communication between parents, students, teachers, and the school administration to address any concerns or challenges.
