NEW! OYA ATTENDANCE AND ENGAGEMENT POLICY
OYA is excited to announce the launch of our new Attendance and Engagement Policy. The policy has been designed to promote a positive and supportive learning environment, ensuring that every engagement opportunity led or supervised by Opportunity Youth Academy staff is valued. The policy will commence on 3/4/2024, and we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the details outlined in the policy document.
Key components of the Attendance and Engagement Policy include:
Regular Attendance: Emphasizing the importance of consistent attendance to maximize learning opportunities.
Engagement in Activities: Encouraging active participation in Learning Labs, field trips, Civic Engagement projects, scheduled meetings, assessments and other learning opportunities.
Communication Channels: Establishing effective communication between parents, students, teachers, and the school administration to address any concerns or challenges.
Should you have any questions or require further clarification regarding the Attendance and Engagement Policy, please do not hesitate to reach out to the OYA staff or Principal Everett. Your feedback and input are valuable, and we welcome your active involvement as we implement the new plan.
